About Twenty Hertz :

TWENTY HERTZ is a platform to release music both by myself (Paul Bradley) and by other artists and musicians whose work I admire and enjoy. So far these have included (among others) Colin Potter, Andrew Liles, Monos, Keith Berry, Ubeboet, Maile Colbert and David Wells.
All Twenty Hertz releases have been on either CD or CDr as I feel that these two formats currently offer the most appropriate form of reproduction. That is not to discount other options however and future releases may find themselves appearing on vinyl or on DVD.
2007 saw the launch of Twenty Hertz Digital, making available MP3 and (ocassionaly) FLAC files for download. Offering
reissues, exclusive material and an alternative distribution of releases.
There is a close relationship between Colin Potter's ICR label and Twenty Hertz. We have shared a number of releases and cross pollinate frequently in a number of areas. For this reason we are sometimes mistaken for being one and the same. However this is not the case and we are two separate living and breathing entities, it is just that we often like to collaborate and help each other out.

Demo policy

Demo Policy :
Please bear in mind the following points and guidelines:

The only accepted medium is CD(r) or links to audio files you may have hosted somewhere on the internet. Please DO NOT send any audio files as attachments in emails they will be deleted and ignored. There is no ability to play cassette tapes or DAT tapes.
Please be familiar with what Twenty Hertz is about. Check out the artists on this site and on the 'contact & links' page. Listen to the audio clips available.
This is a small label with limited funds and releases come mainly from previous contacts or invitations made to specific artists. To be brutally honest Twenty Hertz isn't really looking for new artists and no matter how great your submission is, the likelihood that we will be in a position to release it is slim. However, you never know and sending a demo lets us know you are out there.
If we like your submission you will be contacted. If you are not contacted then it is likely that your recording was found to be inappropriate for release through Twenty Hertz.
We are unable to return submissions.
